Had a really great night not only at my favorite club, but was asked to video my friend’s outstanding band “Bonnie Riot”. I figured since I was going to shoot video of her set I might as well bring my camera and take some photos.

Self Portrait – Setup my mono light with soft box to camera left. Hung my black out curtains. Used remote camera trigger and setup a 10 second delay.

This photo was taken yesterday just prior to sunset at the Arthur J Marshall wildlife refuge. Another photographer walked by and mentioned that the sky was lackluster because of all the clouds. I always welcome cloud cover like this in the event they project rays of light. This happened several times yesterday and I am pleased I stuck it out and waited for these type of events.
