Cassius Blue Butterfly

This small butterfly is a very common species throughout South Florida, and can often be seen in open areas such as roadsides, fields, and coastal dunes. The male has light blue with brown border on the upper side of his wings. The female has white upper side with blue color near border. The underside of both sex is whitish color with brown margins, bandings and conspicuous to big eyespots.
